Art Meditation 1

with Creative Studios

This session will give you a taster of our regular Creative Studios. Buvana & Jillian will lead a short bible passage reflection on the theme "From the Shadows", which will be a basis for your own personal reflection. You are invited to create a piece of art, poetry, music, dance, story, performance etc. in response to the reflection and verses. After, during the sharing session, we will come back together and share our works and insights in small groups.

The Bible passage for this session will be given nearer the time, so please do come back here to check if you already want to start thinking and working on something beforehand!

NB : A number of our Creative Studios have already been working on this theme throughout the year and this session can be an opportunity for those who wish to also share some significant piece they have created.

Special Requirements

  • The studio is your home, prepare whatever art materials you want to use during this time of meditation with God using the arts.
  • Our media sharing platform for the GCSD will be Discord. Here you will be able to upload and share your creations and see other people's creations throughout the day on the channel #art-posts, write your thoughts about your piece, comment and interact with each other.
