Bringing Life Through Puppetry

Learn how to bring inanimate figures to life. Participants will learn about the fantastic range of cultural puppet forms still being used across the world today.  This will be followed by a short practical workshop creating a simple table-top puppet to explore how to express a range of emotions, movements and focus.    Whether you are a novice or experienced performer, this workshop will top up your skills and understanding.  It’s open to the inquisitive and playful who wish to broaden their horizons on ways to tell stories or share the gospel.

This will be an interactive fun workshop!
For over 30 years Mike McManus performed in theatres across the UK and abroad, using different types of puppetry in secular and Christian settings, often with actors interacting with the puppet.
