Intro to creating stop-motion animation with Liz Waugh McManus Learn how to make a 3D or 2D animation film. This is an introductory workshop to stop-motion animation using an inexpensive app, Stop Motion Studio, with versions that work on android mobiles, iPhones, iPads and desktop/laptop computers. Participants will learn how to use the app and some of the features to start creating and editing their own movies. Liz is an interdisciplinary artist who works across physical and digital mediums including glass, sound and video. The £5.99 version for mobile phones and iPad (rather than the free version) is preferred for its useful features e.g. green screen, audio, paint and import. The desktop version is £9.99 and can be used with an external camera (DSLR or webcam).Something to keep your camera device still. This can be a tripod, mount, or even a large mug to place a mobile phone inside.
