Light Up with Batik with Iris Low Iris and Tesurgir will share a brief introduction into how they got into batik, where you will hear stories of how batik sessions have been used to build bridges and start conversations of faith with other cultures and non-believers. You will learn batik processes and colouring techniques. Workshop participants can join as ‘viewers only’. Iris is from Singapore and is with the Arts Release Team SG. She loves creativity and is an Arts Advocate. Iris also loves batik and so what began as a hobby in 2020 has now sprung up into a ministry. Together with her batik teacher and friend Tesurgir, they want to bring this beautiful art form to many. They desire to use batik to befriend, bond, and build bridges to other cultures. So join this Batik appreciation workshop to hear stories of how COVID-19 opened the door for this ministry and for an experience of batik painting.Instagram: @lightupwithbatikInstagram: @Tesurgir Session time(s) Loading...
